Drive Test & Optimization

The Drive Test is conducted to check the cell site’s coverage requirements by using the RF test tool. The information gathered by the drive test tool in log files is analyzed to assess the various

RF parameters that make up the network, including Drive Site and Route Information for the sites that are to be driven are obtained from the customer. Get a list of the Nominal to be surveyed by the client. In the event of town surveys, where nominals were not available, we will survey the town and give an estimate of the most suitable site.

Utilize the template for the survey report to be sent by the client
Determine the physical area of the proposed nominal and find 3 possible possibilities (maximum) per nominal, based on the size of the search ring suggested by the customer.
Examine the site to determine RF potential
Record the Latitude and Longitude and height of the building and so on. of the candidates being considered
Estimate and supply the required GSM Antenna dimensions and orientations. The proposed location of the tower or pole (s) will also be identified with a drawing of the structure (rooftop) as well as the ground (for every candidate).
Take photographs of the site (360 360 degrees panorama view and elevation of the site or building) for each candidate, as described on the survey template.
Keep track of physical addresses for the candidates, as well as a site manager/owner contact information (where they are available)
