Picocells are a great solution to provide coverage and capacity to hotspots and other prioritised installations, like railway stations, airports, Hotels, Shopping centers and corporate customers of large size.

It has been reported that 70-90% of mobile calls are conducted within the building. Also, it has been observed that it’s becoming expensive to boost the chances of location in the indoor area by using outdoor locations (90 per cent).

The most efficient way to give good inside-building coverage is to utilize Picocells within the building using a Distributed Antenna System. This provides excellent coverage and capacity within the building, and at the same time, it allows capacity to the outdoor cells.
